Before you is a gallery of sound clips scattered along the wall of Saint Clare's Monastery.

Stones are history. A wall is a testament to a place.

In this creation, you will listen to the wall. The wall tells, remembers, and questions.

Sometimes the wall will open a crack for you, or a peeking corner.

It will take you deep into the earth and then back to the familiar and known.

You can lean on it, explore angles both of your eyes and heart, and look at it (and on walls in general) with a new and different perspective.

For each segment, you can listen along with a written invitation that directs the gaze or suggests an action that will deepen your listening experience.
