Man with a Suitcase

Shadow Theatre
WASP_edited.png

2012

A paper man who can crumple and tear at any moment embarks on a mysterious journey in a two-dimensional world. Together with a suitcase and a lost identity, he appears and disappears, in light, shadow, and between the pages.

This work seeks to breathe life into an iconic piece of paper by creating a story where at times facts become inverted and deceptive.

A shadow theatre performance based on paper, exploring the boundaries of the medium, shading possibilities, and the material essence of paper.
